Circa 2006, my then-roommate, Ryan Lundy, was in Atlanta and stopped to ask for directions. The first person he saw was a construction worker. The worker picked up a scrap piece of wood and Sharpie and drew this amazingly simple and accurate diagram of the interstate system in ATL. Ryan kept it in the trunk of his car for years and we referred to it as "The Tome of Knowledge." Now that I live in ATL, I think about it every time I'm trying to get my bearings while on the road.
