Well whaddaya know—I’m back with another ~early logo experience~ for y’all. Before I could read, I “owned” one cassette that wasn’t an unofficial Disney mixtape. It was New Kids on the Block’s “Hangin’ Tough.” Whenever I got in my mom’s car, I dug through all the case-less tapes in the glove box (this was the 80s—when kids sat in the front seat), found the tape with the stars on it, and begged mom to take out Dan Fogelberg or Garth Brooks, and put in the New Kids. Cuz I wanted to be a bad boy like Donnie with a rat tail and holey jeans.
(This is Part 9 of #JLFirstLoves, a series where I draw/talk about the first logos I developed relationships with.)
